The harvestable Herb Garden features special FarmVille herbs that are different from regular FarmVille crops and Blooms but share some similarities as well. An Herb Garden seems a natural addition to FarmVille and we can’t believe there hasn’t been a group of special Herbs before.

In a short explanation this is how the new FarmVille Herb Garden will work.
- 1. Harvest your Herb Garden to collect seeds.
- Plant your new Herbs on your farm.
- Earn mastery stars to unlock new Herbs.
- Expand your Herb Garden to master faster.
Your Herb Garden is harvested so that you can collect new Herb seeds. The number of seeds you receive when harvesting your Herb Garden can be increased by expanding your Herb Garden.
Expanding Your Herb Garden
Expanding your Herb Garden is the best way to earn mastery faster and thus unlock new Herbs.
Your Herb Garden can be expanded with collecting the following materials:
- FarmVille Clay Pots x 10
- FarmVille Special Soil x 10
- FarmVille Peat Pellets x 10
Collecting Expansion Supplies
There are several ways to obtain parts for your Herb Garden
expansion. The three supplies including Clay Pots, Special Soil, and
Peat Pellets can be sent/received for free via the FarmVille Gifting
Page. There’s also the option to ask specific friends for help by
sending them help requests via the Herb Garden menu. Finally, you can
find extra parts on your Facebook News Feed from your neighbors’ shares
or purchase the parts directly using Farm Cash.

Planting Your New Herbs
Your new Herbs that you receive can be planted on your FarmVille
farm. Herbs can be harvested and fertilized just like any other
FarmVille crop. They can also wither like FarmVille crops.
Unlocking New Herbs
Once you earn three mastery stars for any specific Herb, you will
gain mastery for that Herb and also unlock a new Herb! The previously
mastered Herb, will then become available in the FarmVille Market to
grow as you would any normal seed.
