FarmVille Giant Jack-o-Lantern Loading Screen

The 2011 Halloween Basket has finally arrived and is slowly rolling out to all farmers! We’ve all been waiting to get our FarmVille trick or treats and this event officially kicks off today with the Giant Jack-O’ Lantern collection event.

The Giant Jack-O’ Lantern works as a collection basket to store all the Halloween Treats that you’ve collected from friends. You will be able to trade-in what you’ve collected and redeem it for some special exclusive Halloween themed prizes. (See a sneak peek of the redemption prizes below).

Each of your three farms can have their own Giant Jack-O’ Lantern, but it’s important to note that each farm will have its own individual Treat count. It is not a collective total for all three farms.

There are a few ways that you can obtain your Treats for your Halloween Basket.

3. Harvest Count Duckula’s Castle
4. Craft Cranberry Sauce recipe in Lighthouse Cove
5. Find from shares on Facebook News Feed
6. Purchase directly with Farm Cash via FarmVille Market at 1 Treat = 1 Farm Cash

FarmVille Giant Jack-o-Lantern

As you begin to fill up your Giant Jack-O’ Lantern with Treats, you will notice that the appearance of your Jack-O’ Lantern changes. With each new stage, it becomes larger and more grand. There are a total of six construction phases.

Giant Jack-O’ Lantern Building Stages:

Level 1: Pumpkin Seeds
Level 2: Pumpkin Sprout
Level 3: Perky Pumpkin
Level 4: Jolly Jack O’Lantern
Level 5: Poltergeist Pumpkin
Level 6: Monster Pumpkin

Now on to the good stuff! After filling up your Giant Jack-O’ Lantern with Treats you will be able to redeem the Treats for some fun Halloween themed prizes. These items are not available in the FarmVille Market. Below is a list of redemption prizes and how many Treats you need to get them.
